Chainmailling is the perfect hobby for me with my disabilities because it’s something grounding I can do from bed. I love creating big performance pieces and connecting simple chains to keychain rings so they can be used or styled in multiple ways. Chainmaille is surprisingly malleable, and the fluidity of woven metal is reflective to me of the tender strength and adapability of queer and trans relationships.
